Acacia catechu is a small to medium-sized, thorny tree that can grow up to 15 meters tall.It is also known as the Cutch tree, Kahir, and Khadira.The bark of the tree is dark gray or grayish-brown, and peels off in long strips or narrow rectangular plates. The inside of the bark is brown or red.
